
1. Never abuse the skills developed through Tae Kwon Do. Martial arts techniques should be used as a last resort, and then only to the extent necessary.
2. Work at your own ability and try your best at all times but do not over do it. Take a break when needed.
3. Attend sessions only after you have fulfilled your family, work and/or school obligations.
4. Respect yourself, your parents and your elders. Set a good example.
5. Bow to before practice to show your respect and demonstrate that you are ready to begin.
6. Be obedient and attentive to the Instructor at all times.
7. Train regularly, practice the exact technique demonstrated, and apply yourself to perform the techniques correctly.
8. Maintain a modest attitude and control, balance is key.
9. Always be punctual. When arriving late, communicate with the Instructor. Inform the Instructor if at all possible in advance if you are going to be late or leave class early.
10. No chewing gum while training.
11. Do not use profanity or offensive language while training.
12. Remove all jewelry before training.
13. Practice good personal hygiene.
14. Do not teach anyone outside of class.
15. Adapt to the skill level, physical condition, and age of each partner you train with.
16. Do not practice any technique that has not been formally taught by an Instructor. Sparring is prohibited unless under the guidance of an Instructor.
17. Always let the Instructor know when you are suffering from an injury, illness or require special assistance. Do not come to class when suffering from a contagious illness and let the Instructor know if you will miss class for an extended period or decide to quit training.
